The Central Coast Feathers Fanciers was held last weekend, Oct 10& 11. What a good showing of Polish! When I first started showing Polish I was usually the only one. Now there were 13 large fowl & 25 bantam! There were even 2 bantam Houdan. The best of breed was won by a very deserving Buff Laced hen shown by Rita Martin. She was beautiful. So beautiful she went on to win Best Continental!!! Big Congrats, Rita!

Hi Sandy - Haven't been here in a week or so but here ya go... Best Bantam went to Megan Lovato with a White Crested Blue, Best Large Fowl went to Rita Martin with a Buff Laced hen, Best of Breed Overall Polish went to Rita's Buff Laced hen, Reserve Overall Polish went to Sherry Parker with a White Crested Black pullet. I was very happy with the how many Polish there were! It was great to see old Polish friends & make new ones. I invited non-members to join & I hope they do. Hope to see all the Western Dist members at the Bakersfield show!

Hey Sherry,
Congradulations on your ROP !!.The SSFF was great. My splash Silkie cockerel got a 1 w/circle around it. Ok for his first show,. He didnn't seem stressed. There were ALOT of silkies there. My cockerel's father was caged right next to him. There were WC black, BL, a beautiful Golden polish actually 2 SL polish pullets there. All had beautiful crests and conbs. Id like to see more polish cuckoos, jkahkis,. Im really liking the buttercups too. I didn't get a chance to ask Bridget how she did with her Fav's. They're so gorgeous. I saw her getting one of their pics taken by the photographer. Congrats again !
