Hello all members, I just finished up emailing all those members that receive the newsletter in this format their newsletters. To you that get it by snail mail, it should be going out as soon as I get it back from the printers. Its 16 pages and full of info, if your not a member..... you should become one!!!

Just read the latest newsletter. Another great issue! I like getting updated on the various committees. I really like seeing that the Youth Committee is in full swing, already writing their first article & offering tips. Good Job! There are a couple of junior members here in California raising some nice laced and WCBlacks and I'm trying to convince them to join that committee. The articles from Joel & Kathy show us how important it is to share breeding and care tips with others for the betterment of the Polish breed. C'mon, look what they've accomplished with the help of other breeders! Josh's article "Work in Progress" discusses some interesting topics. I agree with them & couldn't have said it better. I like Sylvia's update on the Nationals' and especially like the pic with her & her beautiful White. Throwing in a bit of conversation from this forum might entice those non-forum users to take a little look-see. Lastly, as the Western director, I'm glad to see the suggested redistricting keeps Hawaii & Alaska in my district. Now I have to figure out a way to have a trip to Hawaii & a cruise to Alaska considered as a "donation of my time" to the "non-profit" Polish Club on my taxes! The darn IRS is so picky sometimes.

I too enjoyed the newsletter and emailed my thanks to Jim directly I was interested to see Canada listed as a district and look forward to getting involved in what ever way would benefit the club. I have had polish in my flock since our first birds in 1977( we started with WC black and Buff laced standards.) Polish are very scarce here now but I hope to see that change soon and having club recognition would only benefit the crested breeds here.
