Diane,

I will start passing your info on to members and fanciers. I get at least two emails a day and a phone call for birds or eggs.

Ok, I don't know what is up with the dates on here but I most definitely didn't get the eggs on the 20th. Anyway, I candled the eggs-early-today (because I am just couldnt' wait any longer) and I did not count how many I could see developing but it was a LOT of them! I am, of course, quite pleased!

Today I candled again and did count. There are 14 out of the 18 eggs sent to me that are fertile. :DJust can't beat that.

My eggs are hatching. So far one chick has hatched with yellow down, so I take it that is a white maybe and there are two more pipped that I can see so far. Will post again when the hatch is over. :D My best days are Polish hatching days, lol.

I have two more hatched that look blue, maybe they are black? Went to look at your website again but it seems to be gone.

Ok, I ended up with 7 chicks. There was an 8th chick but it died while pipping (very big chick). Two of the chicks are yellow, two are a lighter color maybe these are the chocolate, and the rest are the darker color (I take it they must be blacks or cuckoo. All are doing well so far.

this is of topic but I have all of my roosters in sepret pens and coops to keep the polish lines pure and all the hens in general population. I have wight crested black and golden and buff lace polish. I'm looking for black crested wight eggs for hatching, you can send them in an oversize box with lots of stuffing around them, two or three doz. over here and it will be fine

Well, my beautiful little chicks are dying off one by one. I have no idea why. The other chicks in the brooder aren't dying. I have moved the remaining 4 into a smaller brooder by themselves and we'll see how it goes. They don't look sick at all not even droopy, they drink and eat just fine. I really have no idea.

Well, now they are by themselves. They were in with some sebright chicks and bantam Japs. We'll see if they do better in their own little brooder. It is terribly depressing to have them die like that so fast.

Overcrowding the brooder is never a good idea. You didn't say how many birds were in the group but hopefully that was the problem and its now solved and you won't lose anymore.

That's really weird.  Usually, my Polish chicks are super hardy.  I often lose the araucanas and seramas, but almost never any Polish.

They seem to be doing fine now. The brooder did not seem overcrowded to me but the other chicks were several days older than the Polish so maybe.

I would love some more eggs. How many for how much? Please let me know.
