Merry Christmas to all!!!

  There has been talk about shutting down the forum for the site to non members. We currently have almost 500 members and get well over 200 hits a day. One incentive to the club would be being able to join into the forum.  The rest of the site will be accessable to the world.  I would love to hear your feedback in a constuctive way. Why would anyone want to support the club with a membership if they got in free? I would like to see the forum part of the site closed. All the other clubs I am a member of run the site that way.

I agree w/ Crested on the closing of forums to non-members.

I agree that using a breed specific forum should be a benefit of being part of the PBC.

So far I have had only one negative feedback on closing the forum to non members. I will pass this to the other officers and go from there.

  I do hope that joining the club with an extra incentive of the forum will entice more people to join. But the traffic will slow down without the non members, just something to think about. I hope to have a decision on the site soon. Again, any comments can be made here or sent directly to me.

 The subject of closing the forum to non members is now in the hands of the officers of the club. They will collectively decide what the best course of action is.  I've been visiting other club sites and most are accessible to members only.  It does make it a big incentive to join the club. I will keep you posted.
