I was watching this because I have barred rock eggs on here and just found it to be very interesting.

I just got 6+ eggs from a gal in OK and her birds looked just as good for $15! On a side note, If someone is paying $177 fro 6 eggs, don't you think you, as the seller, could eat the $12 shipping? Really?

Yes, I would think so...lol I'm just floored because shipped eggs are such a gamble. I certainly don't have $177 to throw away. I guess if you could get that perfect bird it would be worth it. Even the best of breeders don't get that perfect bird very often. WOW!!

WOW! That is just nuts. The starting bid was only $15.00 so I'm sure the seller was as shocked as we are. If you go back and look at the bid history, all seemed normal until the price reached $42.00 then it turned into an all out bidding war between two people. Sometimes you just have to let go on these auctions and admit defeat

I just paid $175 to duke electric.....i guess it's all relative. But as much as I like my bird, I'd rather have heat!!
