I have a Rcom bator it reads the humidity , I have a different humidity gauge on the inside it reads higher than the machine (it always has) and ive hatched good by keeping the machine at 46% humidity and the gauge on the inside reads 55%- 60% .So I bought a digital thermometer to keep on the inside, and it has the temp the same but it reads the humidity at 70+%. I know the other humidity gauge works and I trust the readings I also use them for my water dragon. Has any one else had this problem with those digital temp/humidity thermometers?

I had to check mine because I bought 2 differetn kinds and the readings were totally different! You can check the reading by putting 1/4 cup salt in a 1/2 cup of water in a glass. put the hygrometer on the side, put the whole thing in a zip loc bag for 8 hours. It should read 75% humidity. Then you will know if your hygrometer is off or not. | |

Marcos, I was always pulling my hair out with the humidity. But with my power out here going out ALL the time, I just stick to setting hens!
