I'm looking at possibly ordering some WC Black LF from Cackle Hatchery. Their photos look pretty good. Has anyone any comments on Cackle, or an idea where I should go for WC Blacks?
So many people raise bantams rather than large fowl... sigh. I keep seeing members with lovely WC blacks or blues in their avatar... and of course, it always turns out to be a bantam.

I've not ordered from them, but a piece of advice; contact the hatchery and see if the photos are of their stock. Some use photos taken at shows, not of their breeding stock. | |

Hmmm. That's worrisome. Thanks for the tip.

We have LF WCblacks but having difficulty with hatching. If we get that issue rectified would be glad to part with some to an avid LF fan (yes, it seems the bantams are more popular).
