I just had a mom call me who's daughter is wanting to hatch chicks for her science fair project. She was going to have to buy an incubator buy & find eggs, buy brooder the whole deal, so I offered to incubate for her, but the girl had to handle the project, read some books etc. but that I would help her.... so guess what kind of chickens she likes!!!
silkies & silver laced polish I'm at a complete loss of where to get hatching eggs for silkies and SL polish. Aside from just poking around the auctions, does anyone have any suggestions??

Hi Cheryl, I live in Novato and am also a member of the local chickenchatgroup. I've seen your posts there too. I have some eggs I'd be willing to give her, but I can't guarantee what they are since I do not have my boys and girls in their respective breeding pens yet. I do have show quality silkies and rare crele and lemon cockoo polish plus the standard silver and gold laced polish eggs. Unfortunately, since everyone runs together I really don't know what's what at this point. If she likes surprises, and is not looking for show birds, these eggs should produce some really cool looking chicks. When does she want to hatch eggs. I hope to separate some of my birds into groups. On another note: I have been watching your backyard chicken site and your breeding program and would love to purchase some Jubilee Orp chicks or hatching eggs from you. Do you have any availble now or in the near future? Deann DaSilva Juststruttinfarm.com 415-250-6117 though and silkie and polish roos running with them. If she is game for a surprise hatch I have w
