About Me

I have been showing champion llamas for 10 years and my daughter Erika who is 17 has been showing silkies and has just recently acquired 3 pullets and 1 white crested blue cockerel at the silkie/polish nationals from Kathy Troxel in Lawrenceberg, Tn. Erika had the National Reserve Junior Silkie and many BV's with her silkies at the nationals and has been interested in the polish for some time.

we live at the base of the Smoky Mountains in East Tn.

We will be showing in 2 weeks our white crested blues. They are in excellent show condition, but my daughter ERika who shows in juniors usually shows silkies. Any advice on bathing and grooming prior to the show? I know Kathy told us regarding plucking for the butterfly look a little at a time which she has but does anyone have a really good close up pic? Tks for any advice
