Points system

Here is our point system.  Our system is designed to recognize all people who show.  Our point system is based on the number 5  starting with BEST OF VARIETY and RESERVE VARIETY.  For every 5 birds in the class the BEST OF VARIETY AND RESERVE VARIETY earn 1 point toward MASTER BREEDER.  So, in a class of 20, BEST OF VARIETY AND RESERVE VARIETY would earn 4 points toward MASTER BREEDER.  But, if you only show one bird, and that is the only one in the class, then you still earn one point.  So, from one bird to five, only one point can be earned.

BEST OF BREED AND RESERVE BREED works the same way.  If there were 100 Polish bantams in the class BEST OF BREED AND RESERVE BREED would earn 20 points toward MASTER BREEDER.  The points do not accumulate between BEST OF VARIETY/RESERVE VARIETY and BEST OF BREED/RESERVE BREED.   A Polish that receives BEST OF VARIETY and goes to BEST OF BREED  in a class of 100 birds earns 20 points only.   It works the same for bantams and large fowl.  In addition, we will have an OVERALL CHAMPION picked at our meets.  The large fowl and bantams will compete against each other for this and the MASTER BREEDER points will be awarded accordingly.   If there were 100 bantams and 50 large fowl, the OVERALL CHAMPION Polish would earn 30 points toward MASTER BREEDER.

At the National meets we will have an OVERALL RESERVE CHAMPION as well and the points work the same way.

There are three plateaus in our point systems.  The first is 100 points.  Once a member reaches this in a variety they will receive a Certificate of Merit.  The next plateau is 500 points.  At this plateau a MASTER BREEDER plaque will be awarded.  The third and last plateau will be 1,000 points.  This will be the HALL OF FAME award.  This award will be announced at a later date for this plateau.

We will have all the varieties that are in the Standard as well as new ones that are not yet there.
